Liverpool Airport at Night
This oil on canvas painting depicts a busy scene at Liverpool Airport on a week night. Liverpool was a major parcels, mail and newspaper hub with post office sorting and other distributors. In the foreground an HP7 Handley Page Herald of Channel Express has just arrived. G-SCTT. A Channel Express F27 is just running up its engines prior to departure, and a TNT BAe146 is taking off.
All three aircraft were piloted by Mike Wilson at one time or another. The picture was commissioned by Mike Wilson who used to regularly fly there.



The Painting is Oil on Canvas and measures 77cm x 60cm and was created in 2001.
