Herald and Fokker flying over Bristol
This is an Oil painting by John Meacham, commisioned by Mike Wilson, it depicts a Channel Express HP7 (Handley Page Herald) and a Channel Express F27 (Fokker Friendship). They are flying over Bristol, on the way to Lulsgate Airport to undertake training excersises for new First Officers. Channel Express would regularly use Bristol Lulsgate for these training missions before the airport became busy.

The F27-600 G-CHNL crashed in January 1999 on the island of Guernsey, killing both pilots.
